Patrick Hennessy Author

Patrick Hennessy was born in beautiful San Francisco, California, but it was the charming south that lured him to a place called Louisiana.  Patrick grew up in Bossier City, Louisiana and graduated from Bossier High.  After high school, he ventured east to Louisiana Tech University in Ruston graduating with a degree in social studies education with a minor in English, and then attended LSU Law School in Baton Rouge.  His time at LSU in Baton Rouge exposed him to Cajun country and New Orleans.  Today, as a retired attorney, you will often find Patrick and his wife in uptown New Orleans taking in the culture, the local cuisine, music, and art.  In his first published works, the Cane Series, New Orleans was a powerful influence in the suspense, local flavor, and memorable characters you’ll meet in Cane’s BreakCane’s Corner, and Cane’s Landing.  If you appreciate an easy read, full of twists and turns, and characters that feel like you’ve known them for life; you’ll enjoy Patrick Hennessy.

Patrick now lives in the sister city of Shreveport, Louisiana, in a national historic district called South Highlands.
